2. Data We Collect

Hydration & Health Data

• Water intake logs, caffeine intake, electrolyte intake, workout logs, and symptom logs
• Hydration scores calculated from your logged data
• Apple HealthKit data (iOS): workout sessions, heart rate, and dietary water (with your permission)

Account Information

• If you create an account: email address and authentication credentials
• If you sign in with Apple or Google: the name and email associated with your account (as permitted by your sign-in provider settings)

Usage Analytics

• Anonymized usage events (e.g. screens viewed, features used) via PostHog, processed in the EU
• No personally identifiable information is included in analytics events

Subscription Data

• Subscription status and entitlement information managed by RevenueCat
• We do not store or process payment card details — all payments are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide hydration tracking, scoring, and insights within the App
• To sync your data across devices (Pro subscribers only, via cloud sync)
• To import and export health data with Apple HealthKit
• To manage your subscription and restore purchases
• To improve the App through anonymized usage analytics
• To send local notification reminders (configured by you, processed entirely on-device)

4. Data Storage & Security

All your hydration and health data is stored locally on your device. The App works fully offline without an account.

If you are a Pro subscriber and enable cloud sync, your data is transmitted securely (TLS encryption) to our backend hosted on Supabase. Your data is isolated by your user account and protected by row-level security policies.

Local data is stored using MMKV, an encrypted key-value storage solution on your device.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — authentication and cloud data sync (Pro only)
• RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management
• PostHog (EU region) — anonymized usage analytics
• Apple HealthKit (iOS) — health data integration (with your permission)

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your data is only shared with the third-party services listed above as necessary to provide the App's functionality.

7. Health Data

Health data accessed through Apple HealthKit is used solely within the App to provide hydration tracking features. We do not use health data for advertising, data mining, or any purpose other than providing the App's core functionality. Health data is never shared with third parties.

8. Your Rights & Data Deletion

• You can delete your account and all associated cloud data from the App's Settings screen
• You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time through your device settings
• Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data from your device
• You can request a copy of your data or ask questions by contacting us (see below)

If you are located in the EEA or UK and have questions about your rights under GDPR, or if you are a California resident with questions about your rights under CCPA, please contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
